The View From Here: My Life With Autism Pt 1

Dealing with childhood autism is certainly a challenge. It can be even more difficult to accept when your child used to communicate and function with no trouble. Taylor was one of those children. At two years old, he was reciting his ABCs and seemed to be a happy toddler. By the time his fourth birthday had come around, he was showing significant signs of autism and had lost most of the language and communication skills he had developed previously. Taylor bravely shares his story with us as he recalls how difficult it can be to go through this journey.

Watch part one of his story as Taylor shares some of his family videos and we watch as he transforms into the person he is today. Check back tomorrow for part two of Taylor’s story.
