Temple Grandin’s “The Autistic Brain”

Well-known autism advocate and one who is on the spectrum herself, Temple Grandin, speaks at the 6th & I Historic Synagogue about what normal really means and when some of the smartest, most intellectual people of our time and in present day become mildly autistic.

From Steve Jobs to Albert Einstein to even herself, Grandin describes the huge spectrum that those who have autism can be placed along and how recent autism research today has made greater strides in understanding this condition. With a neurological and psychological perspective, Grandin shares what it’s like to live on the spectrum and what autism means today!
