It doesn’t happen very often, but there are certain times in life when the sign language interpretation of the song or other type of performance is better than the original. This is one of those times.
This sign language interpreter must be a huge fan of Swedish singer Magnus Carlsson! Tommy Krångh is all about making the experience fun for the viewer, even if the person viewing is not able to hear the words or tune of the song. It’s so easy to miss out on so much when you can’t hear, but Krångh will make your experience even more exciting than it is for the rest of the world!
Krångh’s epic translation of Carlsson’s “Meet Me in Old Town” is something you just don’t want to miss.
Unless you speak Swedish (or Swedish sign language), you probably won’t understand what the words to this tune are. But will you care? We sincerely doubt it. After all, some of these gestures are pretty self-explanatory.
We’ve never seen a more…interesting performance. Check it out:
What’s your favorite part of Krångh’s performance? Doesn’t it make you want to learn sign language? Let us know in the comments!
