Was craft time your favorite activity when you were a kid, too? If so, get excited because we have a new Smarty Activity from Autism Live—and it’s all about getting crafty! But you want to know what’s even cooler than that? It utilizes therapy skills, so be sure to include your kiddo in this project, too!
The Smarty Activity this month from Autism Live is creating cool, imaginative masks by combining artistry, therapy skills, and fun! The best part is, you can create any animal you can think of: rabbits, bears, owls, elephants, and more. Your child can create a face mask of his or her favorite animal!
These are the supplies you’ll need:
- Hole Puncher
- Markers or crayons
- Pipe cleaners
- Template (go to Autism Live’s Facebook page, and print out the templates from their photo album)
Gather your supplies, and let’s make some animal masks!
