Tips for Getting Your ASD Kiddo to Go to Bed…and STAY in Bed!

Getting a child to go to sleep is always a challenge. This is especially true when they’re on the autism spectrum. And sleep is so important, both for you and your child, so this can be a difficult aspect of parenting.

However, Autism Live gives us some helpful tips that takes advantage of the knowledge we already have about living with a child on the spectrum and putting them into play when it’s bedtime.

Watch and learn about what can make you and your child rest easier. One example involves implementing a routine—making sure they know it’s almost time for bed by establishing rituals. That will help make for a smooth trip to tucking your kid into bed!
