Student With Autism Has A Message For Kids Who Are Being Bullied

As Albus Dumbledore once said in the famous Harry Potter series, “It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.” That’s why I truly admire Jake, a young boy with autism, who got up in front of his classmates—whom he wanted to be friends with—and called them out for bullying him and excluding him.

It was actually several years ago that this happened. Wait till you see how Jake is doing now…and what incredible words of wisdom he has for other victims of bullying!

One in three have reportedly been bullied at some point, but children on the spectrum are disproportionately at risk of this, sadly. (Because apparently being a little bit “different” than the other kids is a crime punishable by human cruelty!) But some people have used their bullying situations for good.

Find out about one young man’s incredible response to his bullies. What he did will restore your faith in humanity!
