Make A Burger, Make A Friend

Everyone loves burgers, so it wasn’t a surprise when these two sisters, Lucy and Samantha Krasker organized the Make a burger, Make a Friend event to help raise awareness for autism. Teaming up with Burger Fi, culinary arts students were paired up with individuals with autism to enjoy a day of burgers, conversation, and understanding of autism.

Watch as these sisters talk about how they hope their event will break down barriers, increase awareness and encourage people to reach out to each other. All who attended the event hope that more events like these will increase awareness amongst people and will make more people friends versus bullies.
