As if we needed another reason to love Robert Downey Jr., the Iron Man star just became a real-life superhero for 7-year-old Alex. This man knows no limits when it comes to making dreams come true for his fans! And he does it in the coolest way possible.
Alex was born with a partially developed right arm, and Downey recently presented him with 3D-printed prosthetic arm, made to look just like Iron Man’s.
Albert Manero is the generous college student behind the technology. He builds and donates 3D-printed bionic limbs to kids all over the world who need them. And this time, he’s built an extra-special one for Alex, to make the boy’s arm look just like Iron Man’s arm. The next logical step, of course, was to bring the twin arms together.
Watch the video below to find out why Robert Downey Jr. thinks Alex’s bionic arm is better than the arm of his own original Iron Man suit!
See their absolutely charming conversation, which ends with possibly the best fist bump of all time.
