QUIZ: Which Autism-Friendly Vacation Spot Should Your Family Visit?

If you have a family member on the autism spectrum, you may know that vacationing can pose a particular challenge. Routines can get thrown out of whack, travel is stressful for everyone, and the location is unfamiliar.

But that doesn’t mean you should forego vacations altogether! Getting away is a perfect opportunity to see and experience new things, form great memories, and grow closer as a family. It just takes extra care and thought when you have a family member on the spectrum.

That being said, not all vacation spots are created equally, and there are some that will offer your child a greater sense of comfort. Some are specifically catered toward people with autism and other special needs, whereas others are inherently fantastic just as they are.

Now the million dollar question is, which vacation spot would be best for your family in terms of your personality, location, needs, and interests?

We’ve put together this quiz to help you choose an awesome, unforgettable destination that everyone in your family will enjoy. By no means is it exhaustive, but it’ll hopefully give you a better idea of what your options are.

Take the quiz and let us know in the comments: was your result perfect for your family?
