Lindsay is a young girl with spinal muscular dystrophy (SMA), a rare disorder that affects roughly 8 out of every 100,000 live births. Because she couldn’t walk or crawl, she got a wheelchair when she was two years old so she could be mobile. And her big brother Trenton has always been there for her to help her in any way he can.

“She’s one of the center priorities of my life,” Trenton says. “Like, I would take a bullet for her. And… she’s just… she’s my best friend. I would do anything for her. My life would be nothing without her.”
