Brothers Sam and Jasper were both diagnosed with autism at the age of six. Sam used to bolt frequently, and Jasper had intense social anxiety. Now, thanks to the addition of Teddy to the family, both boys are calmer — and Sam no longer bolts!
When the youngest, Sam, was asked how he felt about Teddy, he said, “He’s beautiful. He listens to mummy. He never runs away. We take him for walkies…” And then in true brotherly fashion, he added, “And when the sun goes down, he’s mine!”
In the following clip, you’ll hear from the boys’ mother as well as the boys themselves. Take a look — it’s a truly inspirational story!
