5-Year-Old Boy With Autism Draws Elaborate Fonts On The Sidewalk

Learning how to write is a big accomplishment. It’s something kids generally start to learn in preschool but most don’t fully grasp it until 1st or 2nd grade.

For one talented boy, however, writing just comes naturally.

Five-year-old Sebastian has autism and hyperlexia (advanced reading and writing skills). He may be kindergarten-aged, but he can write his letters better than most adults!

Sebastian displays his talents outside his home in the form of chalk fonts on the sidewalk. He writes letters in various fonts and creates beautiful words, which his parents share on TikTok.

According to Newsweek, Sebastian can write in more than a dozen fonts and also Greek!

Beyond forming beautiful letters in various fonts, he can also spell words backward and recite the periodic table of elements by heart.

While most 5-year-olds are working on learning to form letter shapes to spell their names and master their shapes, colors, and numbers, Sebastian is practicing his fonts, memorizing scientific charts, and learning other languages, like Armenian.
