Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy helps teach children the skills they need to learn for their environment. Alyssa Block is an ABA Instructor at New York Public School 177. Using ABA on students with autism, she has been able to identify the different skill she would like to work on with each child. ABA is based on reinforcement and the more powerful the reinforcement the faster a child will learn.

Watch as Alyssa describe the basic concepts behind ABA and how things can be easier for children not only in school but at home. Thank you Alyssa for dedicating your time to families and their child with autism.
